The big fairs are well known. Less so: the openings, the independent pop-ups and the free previews before the auctions. We document them here, by the same rules as the Access field.

    For the 50th anniversary of the Nautilus, launched in 1976, the Patek Philippe Museum devotes its top floor, redesigned in a 1970s spirit, to a retrospective drawn from the manufacture’s archives: the references that marked five decades, up to the four 2026 anniversary references, including the 5610P. Opened during the open days of 6 and 7 June 2026, the exhibition runs until early 2027.

    For the second edition of World Watch Day, under the theme “Time as Living Heritage”, the MAH opens the day from 9:30 with a Morning Party (croissants, DJ) aimed at a new generation of enthusiasts. Then: a round table “Watchmaking today and tomorrow” at 11:15, a guided tour of the museum at 12:00, a discussion “Watchmaking, Geneva and Switzerland” with Pascal Ravessoud, vice-president of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, at 13:00, and a second round table “Time as a Living Heritage” at 14:00. At 10:10, artist Mauro Carraro unveils a “Letter to Time” created for the occasion at the MAH (Rue du Puits-Saint-Pierre 6).

    Ahead of the 7 November ceremony, the GPHG shows the watches pre-selected for its 2026 edition at the MAH. This is the part open to the public, with no invitation or badge: the only time you can see the competing pieces together, in one place. Introductory watchmaking workshops and guided tours are offered on registration.

    The global gathering of the major maisons. From Monday to Thursday, access is reserved for professionals, journalists and retailers; the general public is admitted at the weekend, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April. 66 brands exhibit. New in 2027: the House of Brands (Breitling, Gallet, Universal Genève) and Damiani make their debut. The “In The City” programme extends the fair into Geneva itself: the part you can attend without a trade badge.

    Twenty independent brands (Baltic, Furlan Marri, Nivada Grenchen, Studio Underd0g…) gathered in the city centre, with no badge or booking. You try the watches, talk to the founders and can buy on the spot. First edition in April 2026; 2027 dates not yet announced.
